Peter Mensah
Peter Mensah is a Ghanaian-British actor recognized for his roles in notable films and television series, including “Spartacus” as Oenomaus, “300” as the Persian messenger, and “Avatar” as Horse Clan Leader.
Mensah’s career in film began with his appearance in “Sleepy Hollow” (1999), followed by a notable role as the Persian messenger in “300” (2007), which highlighted his abilities in action sequences. His other film roles include playing a mercenary in “Tears of the Sun” (2003) and a skilled horseman in “Hidalgo” (2004). On television, Mensah starred in “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” (2010), “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” (2011), and “Spartacus: War of the Damned” (2013), portraying Oenomaus. His television appearances also include roles in “Star Trek: Enterprise,” “True Blood,” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
