Pelé
Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, was a Brazillian professional footballer (October 23, 1940 – December 29, 2022). Pelé is considered the first international football star and one of the greatest football players of all time. The International Olympic Committee named him the Athlete of the Century in 1999. in 2000, he was voted World Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics. Also in 2000, he shared the FIFA Player of the Century award with Maradona. He set a Guinness World Record for scoring 1,279 goals in 1,363 games. He won three World Cups for Brazil in 1958, 1962, and 1970.
