Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba is a French professional footballer known for playing midfielder for Serie A club Juventus and also for France’s national team. His football journey began with Ligue 2 side Le Havre in 2007, moving to Manchester United two years later. Limited appearances led to his transfer to Juventus in 2012, where he was instrumental in securing four consecutive Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. His influence in Juventus led to his return to Manchester United in 2016 for a then-world record transfer fee of €105 million. In his first season back, he won the League Cup and the Europa League, and was named in the PFA Team of the Year in the 2018–19 season.
On the international front, Pogba led France to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup and was recognized as the Best Player of the tournament. His stellar performances continued as he represented his nation at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where he was awarded the Best Young Player Award. He was a key figure at UEFA Euro 2016, finishing as a runner-up, and ultimately triumphed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, even scoring in the final.
Pogba’s prominence in football paved the way for various collaborations. He partnered with Adidas in 2014 to create the Paul Pogba cleats collection, offering support and comfort to players worldwide. Pogba has also stirred excitement among fans about a potential collaboration with David Beckham. More recently, he collaborated with British fashion designer Stella McCartney in 2021 to launch a vegan Adidas Predator Freak, the world’s first-ever 100% vegan boot, and joined PepsiCo as a brand ambassador.
