P. V. Sindhu
Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, often referred to as P. V. Sindhu, is an Indian badminton player. Sindhu broke into the top 20 of the BWF World Rankings in September 2012, at the age of 17. She is India’s most decorated female athlete. P. V. Sindhu has won medals across the Olympics, the BWF Circuit. In 2019, she won a gold at the World Championships. She is the first and only Indian to become a badminton world champion the the second individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games. Forbes has listed her in their Highest-Paid Female Athletes list in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
