Ninja (Tyler Blevins)
Ninja (real name Richard Tyler Blevins) is an American professional gamer, live streamer, and content creator. He’s considered one of the most well-recognized professional gamers and is best known for his Fortnite streams. He started professional gaming with Halo 3, then moved onto H1Z1, and then PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. His fame skyrocketed after his success streaming Fortnite Battle Royale in 2017. He’s broken many streaming records and currently is the most-followed Twitch channel with over 18 million followers, as of September 2022. He held the record for most Twitch subscribers, before being beaten by Ludwig in 2021, who was then beaten by Kai Cenat.
He has live-streamed with celebrities such as Drake, Travis Scott, Marshmello, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. He has used streaming to raise funds for charities such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has also published several books, such as Get Good: My Ultimate Guide to Gaming.
