Moses Sumney
Moses Sumney is an American singer-songwriter and musician, known for his unique vocal style and eclectic musical compositions. He released his debut album Aromanticism in 2017, which received critical acclaim and was followed by his double album græ in 2020, nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
Throughout his career, Sumney has engaged in several notable collaborations that have enriched his musical projects. He worked with James Blake on the track “Tell Them” from Blake’s 2019 album Assume Form. His interaction with Bon Iver included a live performance at the Eaux Claires Music Festival, curated by Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner. In addition, Sumney contributed to Solange’s 2019 album When I Get Home, appearing on the track “Time (is)”. His work with Sufjan Stevens involved a remix of “Make Out in My Car”, which also featured contributions from Alex Isley and James Blake, enhancing the song’s reach and stylistic depth.
