Kate Bosworth and Justin Long have a rescue dog named Happy whose breed is “Blue Picardy French Spaniel”. This very specific breed originates from France and is pretty rare in North America. Bosworth adopted Happy in 2015, while she was still married to Micahel Polish.

Michael Polish is a director and writer. He is best known for The Astronaut Farmer (2006), Twin Falls Idaho (1999), and Northfork (2003). Formerly branded as one of the Polish Brothers with his brother Mark Polish, Michael split off to direct his own films.
