Melissa George
Melissa George is an Australian actress known for her work in television and film. She played Angel Parrish on Home and Away and was nominated for a Gold Logie Award. In the United States, she portrayed Lauren Reed on Alias, Dr. Sadie Harris on Grey’s Anatomy, and Rosie on The Slap. She starred as Margot in The Mosquito Coast and played the lead role of Rosie in the British drama The First. Her film credits include Mulholland Drive (2001), The Amityville Horror (2005), and Triangle (2009).
In Alias, George appeared in a recurring role opposite Jennifer Garner across the show’s third season. On Grey’s Anatomy, she acted in multiple episodes with Kevin McKidd, portraying a surgical intern entangled in hospital drama. In The Slap, she shared key scenes with Jonathan LaPaglia in a storyline adapted from the Australian novel. On The Mosquito Coast, she appeared alongside Justin Theroux in a television adaptation of the novel by Paul Theroux.
