Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen is a Belgian-Dutch racing driver competing in Formula One under the Dutch flag for Red Bull Racing. Verstappen is the son of former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen and former go-kart racer Sophie Kumpen. He made history as the youngest driver to compete in Formula One at the age of 17 during the 2015 Australian Grand Prix with Scuderia Toro Rosso. His career has been marked by a rapid rise to the top of the sport, culminating in three consecutive World Drivers’ Championship titles from 2021 to 2023.
In his debut race for Red Bull, he won the Spanish Grand Prix, making him the youngest driver to win a Formula One race at just 18 years old. Over the years, Verstappen has set numerous records, including the most wins in a season, most consecutive wins, and most podium finishes in a season. Verstappen’s battles with Lewis Hamilton have been particularly intense, culminating in dramatic races that have captivated fans worldwide. He has also worked closely with teammates like Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez, with the latter playing a crucial role in Verstappen’s championship pursuits by providing support on and off the track.
Verstappen has won three Formula One World Championships, was named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year in 2022, and has received multiple awards from FIA, Autosport, and other prestigious organizations.
