Martha Howe-Douglas is a British actress and writer known for her involvement in the television series “Horrible Histories.” She played Debbie Maddox in the BBC sitcom “Yonderland” and Lady Fanny Button in “Ghosts.”

Howe-Douglas began her career in the BBC soap opera “Doctors,” playing the role of receptionist Donna Parmar from 2007 to 2009, which earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards. She played a key role in the creation of “Horrible Histories,” which led to her involvement in the spin-off series “Yonderland” and “Ghosts.”

Throughout her career, Howe-Douglas has collaborated with various notable figures in British comedy. She worked alongside Steve Pemberton in a guest role on “Psychoville” and with Reece Shearsmith in the same series. Additionally, she collaborated with Hugh Bonneville in “Twenty Twelve” and with Anna Maxwell Martin in the comedy-drama “Motherland.” She also worked with Michael Sheen in “The Queen’s Palaces” and with Jessica Hynes in the sitcom “Up the Women.”
