Mark-Paul Gosselaar is an American actor known primarily for his role as Zack Morris on the television series “Saved by the Bell.” He also gained recognition for his roles in “NYPD Blue,” “Franklin & Bash,” and “Pitch.”

Gosselaar’s notable television roles include Zack Morris in “Saved by the Bell,” which aired from 1989 to 1993 and its subsequent spin-offs and movies. He played Detective John Clark Jr. on “NYPD Blue” from 2001 to 2005 and starred as attorney Peter Bash in “Franklin & Bash” from 2011 to 2014. In 2016, he portrayed Mike Lawson in the baseball drama “Pitch.” Gosselaar’s film appearances include roles in “Dead Man on Campus” (1998) and “Precious Cargo” (2016).
