Leonard Miller
Leonard Miller is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before his NBA career, he played for the NBA G League Ignite.
Miller’s early career was marked by significant achievements and transitions. He played for Bill Crothers Secondary School and Thornlea Secondary School in Ontario, where he helped his team win the National Junior Circuit title. He later transferred to Wasatch Academy in Utah and Victory Rock Prep in Florida, facing stronger competition and overcoming challenges like a broken wrist. His postgraduate season at Fort Erie International Academy in Ontario saw him become a star player, leading to over 25 college offers and an Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association title.
Miller’s professional career began with the NBA G League Ignite, where he was named to the G League’s inaugural Next Up Game for the 2022–23 season. He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft and subsequently traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. His national team career includes winning a silver medal with Canada at the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship.
