Josh Charles
Josh Charles is an American actor known for his roles in Dead Poets Society (1989) as Knox Overstreet and The Good Wife (2009–2016) as Will Gardner.
In Dead Poets Society, Charles played Knox Overstreet, appearing alongside Robin Williams in a story about mentorship. In The Good Wife, he portrayed attorney Will Gardner, a role for which he earned two Primetime Emmy nominations, acting alongside Julianna Margulies. In Sports Night (1998–2000), he played Dan Rydell, working with Peter Krause on a series centered on a sports news show. Charles appeared in Four Brothers (2005) with Mark Wahlberg. In theater, he performed in The Distance from Here, contributing to an Off-Broadway ensemble that earned a Drama Desk Award. He acted in the Broadway production of Thurgood, working with Laurence Fishburne on a play about civil rights. In Law & Order: True Crime (2017), he appeared in a legal drama miniseries with Edie Falco.
