Jordan Stephens
Jordan Stephens is a British musician, actor, and writer known as one half of the hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks. The group achieved widespread recognition with their debut album Stereo Typical (2011), featuring successful singles like “Down with the Trumpets” and “Mama Do the Hump.”
Stephens launched his career with Rizzle Kicks, alongside Harley Alexander-Sule. Their debut album, Stereo Typical, reached platinum status in the UK and produced multiple chart-topping singles. Their second album, Roaring 20s (2013), included the single “Lost Generation,” which continued their success on the UK charts. Stephens pursued a solo career under the name Wildhood, releasing the EP Vert (2016). In addition to his music career, he acted in the film Tucked (2018) and appeared in the TV series Glue (2014). Stephens performed in the theater production The Jungle at London’s Young Vic and has engaged in poetry and spoken word projects.
Throughout his career, Jordan Stephens has collaborated with several artists and actors. With Rizzle Kicks, he collaborated with Ed Sheeran on the track “Dreamers.” He worked with DJ Fresh on the song “The Power.” Stephens performed with Bastille during a BBC Radio 1 session for “Pompeii.” As Wildhood, he collaborated with Craig David on “Summertime.” In acting, he starred alongside Jessie Cave in Tucked. He appeared with Callum Turner in Glue and collaborated with Riz Ahmed in the spoken word project The Long Goodbye.
