John Ratzenberger
John Ratzenberger is an American actor renowned for his role as Cliff Clavin on the television series “Cheers,” which earned him two Primetime Emmy nominations. He is also recognized for voicing characters in Pixar films, including Hamm in the “Toy Story” series and Mack in the “Cars” franchise.[1]
Ratzenberger’s career began in the 1970s with the improvisational theater duo “Sal’s Meat Market,” performing across Europe.[2] He appeared in films such as “Superman” and “The Empire Strikes Back” before his notable role on “Cheers.”[3] In Pixar’s “Toy Story,” he voiced Hamm, collaborating with Tom Hanks and Tim Allen.[4] In “Monsters, Inc.,” he voiced the Yeti alongside Billy Crystal and John Goodman.[5] In “The Incredibles,” he portrayed The Underminer, working with Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter.[6] In “Cars,” he voiced Mack, collaborating with Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy.[7] Ratzenberger also hosted the documentary series “Made in America,” highlighting U.S. manufacturing.[8]
