Jung Ho-seok, better known professionally as j-hope, is a Korean rapper, singer, and producer. He debuted with the boy band BTS in 2013 through Big Hit Entertainment. Other members of the group include the leader, RM (Rap Monster), Jung Kook, SUGA, V, Jimin, and Jin.

In 2018, j-hope released his first solo mixtape and it peaked at number 38 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, making him the highest-charting solo Korean artist on the ranking at the time. In 2022, J-Hope released his debut studio album Jack in the Box.
