Hend Sabry
Hend Sabry is a Tunisian-Egyptian actress and lawyer known for her significant contributions to Arab cinema and television. She gained recognition for her role in the film Silence of the Palaces (1994) and has since starred in several acclaimed films and TV series. Sabry has received numerous awards, including the Faten Hamama Award for Excellence at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2020.
Sabry played leading roles in films such as The Yacoubian Building and Asmaa, tackling complex characters that addressed societal issues. She starred in the television series Ayza Atgawaz, showcasing her versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles. Sabry collaborated with Adel Imam in The Yacoubian Building, sharing the screen with an ensemble cast. She worked with Ahmad Ezz in Kira & El Gin, contributing to its success as one of the highest-grossing Egyptian films. In Asmaa, she partnered with Maged El Kedwany, portraying a woman living with HIV, a performance that earned her critical acclaim.
