Danielle Galligan
Danielle Galligan is am Irish actress, theatre maker, and poet. Her first major television role as Nina Zenik in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone helped her gain International attention. Danielle is also quite active in theatre. In 2018, she co-founded Chaos Factory, an experimental theatre company alongside Gygax, Venetia Bowe, and Rachel Bergin. They debuted with a production titled Kiss Kiss Slap, which featured in the 2018 Dublin Fringe Festival. Their second project, MorphMe, premiered in April 2019.
Galligan’s acting career extends beyond “Shadow and Bone,” with appearances in television series such as “Game of Thrones,” where she played Sarra in the eighth season. Her film work includes roles in “Strangers in the Park” and the short film “Rust.
Collaborations have been a significant part of Galligan’s career. In “Shadow and Bone,” she worked alongside actors like Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, and Archie Renaux. Her appearance in “Game of Thrones” saw her acting with a cast that included Kit Harington and Sophie Turner.
