Bugzy Malone is a British grime rapper hailing from Manchester, recognized for his distinct storytelling style and unique blend of hard-hitting lyricism and innovative beats. His raw narrative approach in music vividly depicts his experiences growing up on the streets of Manchester, thus resonating deeply with a global audience.

Bugzy Malone’s music journey took off with his debut mixtape “SwaggaMan” in 2010, but it was his “Walk With Me” EP in 2015 that truly signaled his arrival on the grime scene. This EP charted in the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart, marking a significant milestone in his career. Malone didn’t rest on his laurels, however, as he released several other successful albums including “Facing Time” (2016) and “B. Inspired” (2018), both of which debuted in the top 10. His long-awaited debut studio album, “The Resurrection” (2021), was another massive success, reaching number 2 on the UK Albums Chart.

Throughout his career, Bugzy Malone has shown a strong affinity for collaboration, working with a diverse array of artists to produce memorable musical moments. His 2017 track “Memory Lane” with Tom Grennan blended grime with indie pop, while his collaboration with DJ Luck and MC Neat on “Through the Night” demonstrated a unique fusion of garage and grime. Other notable collaborations include “M.E.N 2” with producer Zdot, “Ordinary People” with JP Cooper, and “Notorious” featuring Chip. The most impactful among these partnerships was perhaps with Rag’n’Bone Man in “Run”.

In 2018, Malone’s album “B. Inspired” was nominated for Best Album at the MOBO Awards, marking his first major award nomination. This nomination highlighted his growing impact on the UK music scene and further validated his unique storytelling style. The same year, he received a Silver Clef Award from Nordoff Robbins for Best Newcomer.
