Bar Refaeli is an Israeli model, television host, businesswoman, and actress, best known for her appearance on the cover of the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and hosting The X Factor Israel since 2013.

Refaeli’s career took off when she was awarded “Model of the Year” in an Israeli fashion awards ceremony at the age of 15. She has been featured in campaigns for fashion brands like Castro and Pilpel, and also starred in a Milky pudding commercial. Her international success includes appearances in editorials for various editions of Elle, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar. She has also been part of advertising campaigns for brands like Chanel, Escada, Ralph Lauren, and Victoria’s Secret.

Over the years, Refaeli has collaborated with a range of celebrities and artists. She posed with rock band Aerosmith for her 2007 debut in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. She has also worked with Jesse Heiman in a GoDaddy Super Bowl commercial and co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv alongside Erez Tal, Assi Azar, and Lucy Ayoub. Other notable collaborations include her work with Andrew Marc, Desigual, Moët & Chandon, and Reebok.

Refaeli’s achievements extend beyond modeling. In 2009, she received the World Style Award for her “natural elegance, sense of style, and compassion.” She was also voted No. 1 on Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list in 2012. According to Forbes Israel, she was the highest-paid model in Israel in 2013, surpassing the combined income of other Israeli models like Esti Ginzburg and Gal Gadot.
