Anna Wintour is a British journalist and the editor-in-chief of Vogue. She has been praised for her eye for fashion trends, but she has also been criticized for her aloof and demanding personality. She was the focus of a documentary film in 2009 called “The September Issue.” She has been in charge of Vogue since 1988 and is also the Global Chief Content Officer for Condé Nast. Wintour was interested in fashion from a young age and began her career at two British magazines before moving to the US and later returning to London as editor of British Vogue. She is also known for being an animal rights activist.
