Amir Arison
Amir Arison is an American actor best known for portraying FBI cyber expert Aram Mojtabai on NBC’s “The Blacklist” for ten seasons. He has also appeared in television series such as “The Dropout,” “Ramy,” “Law & Order: SVU,” and “American Horror Story.” In film, he is recognized for his role as Mr. Shah in “The Visitor.” Arison’s theater work includes performances in “Aftermath” at New York Theatre Workshop and “Why Torture Is Wrong…” at The Public Theater. He received the 2022 SJFF Pomegranate Award for Career Achievement in Acting.
Throughout his career, Arison has collaborated with various actors across multiple projects. On “The Blacklist,” he worked alongside James Spader, who played Raymond Reddington. In “The Dropout,” he appeared with Amanda Seyfried, who portrayed Elizabeth Holmes. During his time on “Ramy,” Arison shared the screen with Ramy Youssef, the show’s creator and lead actor. In “Law & Order: SVU,” he acted with Mariska Hargitay, who stars as Olivia Benson. His role in “American Horror Story” had him working with Jessica Lange.
