Allison Janney
Allison Janney is an American actress. She has become one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood and has won numerous awards for her work on stage and screen. Janney’s breakout role came in 1999 when she played the acerbic press secretary C.J. Cregg on the acclaimed political drama “The West Wing.” Her performance on the show earned her four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
In addition to her work on “The West Wing,” Janney has appeared in a number of popular films and television shows. Some of her most notable roles include playing the mother in the coming-of-age film “Juno,” the recovering addict Bonnie Plunkett on the sitcom “Mom,” and the ice-skating coach LaVona Golden in the biographical film “I, Tonya.”
