The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has posted a tribute to Seven, his canine costar from the long-running series, who just passed away.
With Norman Reedus playing his iconic role as Daryl – Seven, a Belgian Malinois, played “Dog,” his nameless but faithful sidekick. Reedus posted a photo on Instagram of the pair playing on the beach with a comment, “Will miss u buddy.”
He also posted a cast group photo as an Instagram Story.
The series’ official Instagram account @amcthewalkingdead also posted a gallery of Seven, praising him as the show’s “best boy.”
Reedus has requested a doggy sidekick for several seasons before finally getting his wish, with Seven first appearing in season 9 in 2018. In TWD’s final episode in 2022, Daryl leaves Dog in the hands of his adopted niece Judith Grimes (played by Cailey Fleming).
