Since the passing of iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld in 2019, his white Burman cat, Choupette, has adjusted to life without her dad. On top of many tributes to Lagerfeld on her Instagram, Choupette continues to be the furry fashionista that her dad would have wanted – Such as being featured in Vogue Magazine last Spring.
And most recently, her rep @mypetagency hosted a lavish Parisian picnic for Choupette’s 13th birthday (with Choupette also worth an estimated $13 million).
It fittingly took place on the lawn of the Palace of Versailles, where the feline empress could lounge and eat (cat-friendly) cake. In the translated caption, Choupette “…wishes to express her gratitude to her admirers.”
