Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have an unexpected new fur baby in the family: A rescued kitten named Corn Shelton! The 6-week-old-ish kitten turned up at their home barely alive.
Stefani posted an Instagram video, showing the sickly kitten transforming into a happy healthy one. Shelton is heard in the background saying, “This one is doing incredible, getting fat!”
Prior to naming him Corn, the new kitten appeared on The Voice a few days earlier. In the clip below, Gwen claimed to name the kitten Sydney, as a way to entice a contestant of the same name to join her team. While played to get a smile from the audience, the way Gwen handled the kitten while exposing him to such a loud chaotic environment upset plenty of fans as well.
