Gabriel Feitosa is famed for his creative and luxurious dog grooming that often transforms pups into fun works of art (with dog-friendly dye, of course). If not inclined to DIY, getting your dog groomed is good for their health and necessary for some breeds. And if you and your pup are feeling adventurous, why not level them up?
But for any shelter pup, visiting a high-end groomer is truly a special treat. And while they’re in the salon, why not try out a whole new look? And for shelter pups that have had no luck finding their furever homes, a new look might just get them the attention needed to get adopted. Then just a day after the YouTube video below was shot, that happened to Gremlin (seen above) and Honey Nut Cheerio (who should have been adopted just based on his name)!
Watch the whole experience below:
And these eye-catching makeovers don’t just help the pups visiting the salon. They also bring more attention to shelter dogs everywhere, as well as encourage kind humans to support their local rescues. Including this fun day, Gabriel often works with the San Diego Humane Society to makeover their pups, help get them adopted, and encourage donations. The San Diego Humane Society has helped almost 30,000 pets find homes, provided care for over 10,000 wild animals, and answer countless calls to help all animals. They’re also currently well above their capacity to take in surrendered pets, so any donations are greatly appreciated!
