Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe both posted tributes to Hank, their beloved Labrador who just passed away at 14 1/2 years old.
Reese posted an Instagram Story with a caption thanking her family’s pack leader, “We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank. Thank you for being the best family pet and the pack leader.” Ava also posted an Instagram story of a selfie with Hank and a white heart.
Ava, now 24 years old, grew up with Hank who her side for over half her life. She also made an Instagram post with an elegant photo of Hank, saying, “14 ½ years of pure love & constant tail wagging. The job was ‘family pet’ & he excelled at it. Thanks Hanky for reminding us that every day is the best day ever.”
Hank last made headlines with his fur sibling, Lou the Bulldog, back when the first COVID lockdowns happened in 2020. Along with their mom Reese, the trio practiced yoga to help with the stress of the still-new pandemic.
