Zac Farro
Zac Farro is an American musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band Paramore.
Zac Farro’s career as a musician began when he co-founded the rock band Paramore in 2004. Farro played drums on the band’s first three studio albums: “All We Know Is Falling” (2005), “Riot!” (2007), and “Brand New Eyes” (2009). These albums achieved significant commercial success, with “Riot!” earning platinum certification in the United States. Farro left Paramore in 2010 and returned in 2017, contributing to the band’s fifth studio album, “After Laughter.” Farro also pursued solo projects under the name HalfNoise, releasing albums and EPs such as “Sudden Feeling” (2016) and “Flowerss” (2018).
Farro’s collaborations have been instrumental in shaping his career. Within Paramore, his musical partnership with Hayley Williams and his brother Josh Farro was crucial to the band’s early success. After his departure from Paramore, Farro worked with musicians like Jason Clark in the project Novel American. His solo work as HalfNoise saw collaborations with musicians like Daniel Kadawatha and Joey Howard, who joined Paramore as touring members. Farro also collaborated with producer Carlos de la Garza on “After Laughter.” Additionally, he worked with musicians like Jack Antonoff and Z Berg on various projects. Farro’s work in both Paramore and HalfNoise highlights his significant presence and impact on modern rock music.
