Thomas Ridgewell, known online as TomSka, is a British YouTuber, animator, filmmaker, and musician. He first came to prominence in 2008 with the release of the first episode of asdfmovie, an animated sketch comedy series. Ridgewell has also created several other YouTube channels, including DarkSquidge (currently known as TomSka & Friends), where he vlogs and covers social commentary topics like mental health, sexual health, and body positivity. In 2012, he founded the media production company TurboPunch Ltd., located in London. He is also the producer of Eddsworld after the show’s creator died of leukaemia in 2016. In February 2013, Ridgewell was featured on the cover of Wired UK as part of a feature titled “How YouTube Reinvented the Entertainment Business”.
