Sylvia Jeffreys
Sylvia Jeffreys is an Australian journalist, prominent for her significant contribution to the Nine Network, notably her tenure on the Today Show.
Jeffreys made a name for herself primarily through her work on television. She began her career as a reporter for the Nine Network in Brisbane, but it was her shift to the nationally broadcast Today Show that catapulted her into the public eye. Notably, her expertise in news reporting and strong on-air presence quickly made her a household name across Australia. She held the news presenter role on the Today Show for over four years, from 2014 to 2018. Subsequently, she was appointed the host of “Today Extra.”
Over the course of her career, Jeffreys has worked alongside Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson, her co-hosts on the Today Show, who became renowned figures in Australian television.
