Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, known professionally as Shaun Morgan, is a South African musician and songwriter, best recognized as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band Seether. Morgan has been instrumental in Seether’s success, contributing to the band’s multiple chart-topping hits and albums since its formation in 1999. His work has garnered several accolades, including awards from the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Africa Music Awards.

Throughout his career with Seether, Morgan has released numerous albums that have achieved commercial success and critical acclaim. Notable works include “Disclaimer,” “Karma and Effect,” and “Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces,” the latter of which features the hit single “Remedy,” awarded the 2008 MTV Africa Music Award for Best Alternative Artist.
