Priscilla Shirer
Priscilla Shirer is an American author, speaker, and actress known for her work in Christian ministry and for her roles in faith-based films. She gained prominence for her role as Elizabeth Jordan in the 2015 film War Room, which was a box-office success in the Christian film genre.
Shirer began her career in ministry as a speaker and author, focusing on Christian teachings and women’s issues. She has written several books, including Fervent: A Woman’s Battle Plan to Serious, Specific, and Strategic Prayer, which became a bestseller. In addition to her writing and speaking engagements, Shirer has acted in notable Christian films. Her role in War Room marked a significant point in her acting career, followed by performances in other films like Overcomer (2019), where she played Principal Olivia Brooks. Shirer also contributed to Christian education through her work with the Gideon and Jonah Bible study series.
