Peter Scanavino
Peter Scanavino is an American actor known primarily for his role as Detective Dominick “Sonny” Carisi Jr. in the television series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” He joined the cast in its sixteenth season and has been a mainstay on the show.
Scanavino’s career began with appearances in various television series and films, including guest roles in “The Good Wife,” “Person of Interest,” and “The Blacklist.” In 2014, he was cast as Detective Carisi in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” a role that brought him widespread recognition.
