Park Bom
Park Bom is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in South Korea, Bom rose to fame as a member of the girl group 2NE1, which debuted in 2009. Bom’s breakout role in the music industry came with 2NE1’s debut album, “To Anyone,” which was released in 2010. The album was a commercial and critical success, and it helped to establish 2NE1 as one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea. Bom’s standout vocals on songs such as “Go Away” and “Clap Your Hands” helped to solidify her status as one of the group’s most talented members.
Bom’s collaborations with other artists and celebrities have also contributed to her success. She has worked with popular Korean singers such as G-Dragon and Dara, as well as American hip-hop artist will.i.am. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the drama “Doctor Stranger,” where she played a supporting role alongside Lee Jong Suk.
She has also been involved in charity work for animal welfare organizations, such as her collaboration with the Korean Animal Welfare Association to promote the adoption of abandoned animals.
Bom has won numerous awards for her music, including the Best Digital Single award at the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Best Female Group award at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
