Mikolas Josef is a Czech singer, songwriter, and music producer known for representing the Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song “Lie to Me,” where he finished in sixth place. His career includes several charting singles in Europe.
Josef released his debut single “Hands Bloody” in 2015, followed by “Free.” His Eurovision entry, “Lie to Me,” topped the charts in the Czech Republic. He continued with successful singles like “Me Gusta,” “Abu Dhabi,” “Acapella,” and “Colorado,” which have garnered millions of views on YouTube.
Josef collaborated with Jaro Smejkal and Nikodem Milewski on “Lie to Me.” He worked with Jenson Vaughan, Michael Schulz on “Me Gusta,” Ben Cristovao on a remix of “Abu Dhabi,” The Futuristics on “Acapella,” and Mike Williams on “Gangster.”
