Lalisa Manoban
Lalisa Manobal, known as Lisa, is a Thai rapper, singer, and dancer based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink under YG Entertainment, alongside Rosé, Jennie Kim, and Jisoo.
One of the breakout roles in Lalisa Manobal’s career came with her debut as a member of Blackpink in 2016. The group’s successful debut single “Boombayah” and subsequent hit songs like “Whistle,” “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” and “Kill This Love” propelled them to international stardom, making them one of the most popular girl groups in the world.
Lisa made her solo debut with her single album Lalisa in September 2021. She is the first female artist to sell over 736,000 copies in its release week in South Korea. The music video for its lead single of the same name recorded 73.6 million views on YouTube in first 24 hours of its release, becoming the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours on the platform by a solo artist.
Lisa has had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned artists and celebrities. She worked on “Kiss and Make Up” by Dua Lipa, a collaboration that gained widespread attention. Lisa has also collaborated with artists like Selena Gomez, Cardi B, and Lady Gaga.
