Kristen Wiig
Kristen Wiig is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She is well-known for her work on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (2005–12). She co-wrote the film Bridesmaids (2011) with Annie Mumolo, which pulled in $288 million on a $32 million budget. Wiig also starred in Bridesmaids acting alongside Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper, Rebel Wilson, Terry Crews, and Jon Hamm.
She is also known for her performances in films such as The Martian (2015) and Ghostbusters (2016). Wiig is an accomplished voice actor, most notably for Despicable Me 1, 2, and 3 (2010, 2013, 2017), Sausage Party (2016), and How to Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 (2010, 2014).
Wiig has had smaller roles in numerous films and television shows, notably Knocked Up (2007) with Katherine Heigl, Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) with Kristen Bell and Jason Segel, Paul (2011), and 30 Rock (2007) alongside Tracy Morgan and Tina Fey. Most recently, she’s starred in the TV series MacGruber with WIll Forte and Ryan Phillippe.
Despite her on-screen presence, she is a notoriously private actress. Wiig has no public social media accounts.
