“I need a man that loves monkeys”, says Kristie Alley as she talks about her 14 ring-tailed lemurs. Although Alley says her lemurs are totally safe and friendly, she does not recommend them as pets. For one, lemurs are known to live around 30 years. That leads to a huge responsibility that many owners may not be able to take on.

Kirstie Alley is an American actress and model. She is best known for her role as Rebecca Howe in the long-time running series Cheers. Kristie Alley holds an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe as the “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series” in 1991. More recently, Alley has appeared in reality shows revolving around her life, and currently stars as Dr. Ingrid Hoffel on the second season of the horror-comedy Scream Queens.
