Does Kiernan Shipka Have Any Pets?

Kiernan Shipka loves dogs and loves German Shepherds specifically. She has one GSD and had two before. She's previously adopted a few rescues and has fostered many dogs.

Frankie (Dog)

Breed: German Shepherd | Adopted Feb 2017

Actress Kiernan Shipka currently has one dog, an all-black German Shepherd named Frankie she got in February 2017.

Salem (Cat)

Breed: Black

For Kiernan Shipka’s role as Sabrina on The Chilling Aventures of Sabrina, she had a pet cat named Salem. There were five feline actors who played the role of Salem. Shipka also said that during filming, she, unfortunately, found out she was allergic to at least one of the cats, after developing hives from picking one up.

Rosie and Bunny (Dog)

Breed: German Shepherd

Kiernan Shipka and her family adopted two rescued German Shepherds when she was a teenager. She adopted Bunny just before he was going to be put down. She adopted Rosie in 2007. Shipka is shown here appearing in Paper Magazine with Rosie, Bunny, and her most recent GSD named Frankie. Due to the ages of Rosie and Bunny, and not appearing on Shipka’s social media for years, we’ve assumed they have both since passed away.
