Actors Musicians

Joey Fatone, an American singer, dancer, actor, and television host, is renowned for his role as a member of the boy band NSYNC. In this band, he sang baritone and contributed to its success as one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, with over 70 million records sold. Fatone’s versatility extends beyond music, as evidenced by his second-place finish on the ABC reality show “Dancing with the Stars” in 2007. He has also hosted the U.S. and Australian versions of “The Singing Bee” and served as the announcer for the game show “Family Feud” from 2010 to 2015. His career includes hosting roles on Food Network’s “Rewrapped,” Game Show Network’s “Common Knowledge,” and appearances on shows like “The Masked Singer.”

Fatone’s journey in the entertainment industry began with his role in “Beetlejuice’s Rock and Roll Graveyard Revue” at Universal Studios in Orlando. His career took a significant turn when he joined NSYNC in 1995, alongside Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass. The band achieved phenomenal success until their hiatus in 2002. Fatone’s contributions to NSYNC included lead vocals on select tracks and acting alongside bandmate Lance Bass in the film “On the Line.” The band’s brief reunion at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and a performance at Coachella in 2019 without Justin Timberlake were notable moments in their history.

In addition to his music career, Fatone has made significant strides in acting and hosting. He played Cousin Angelo in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and its sequel, and made his Broadway debut in “Rent.” His filmography includes roles in “The Cooler,” “Red Riding Hood,” and “Homie Spumoni.” Fatone’s television appearances span various genres, including voice roles in “Robot Chicken” and acting in “Jersey Shore Shark Attack” and “Impractical Jokers.” His hosting roles have been diverse, ranging from “Celebrity Circus” to “The Singing Bee” and “Family Feud.”
