Jacob Tremblay adopted a Toy Poodle named Rey in November 2016. He named Rey after Daisy Ridley’s character from the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy.

Jacob Tremblay is a Canadian actor who has gained international recognition for his outstanding performances on stage and screen. He made his breakthrough in 2015 with his role in the critically acclaimed film “Room,” for which he received numerous award nominations, including a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role. Since then, he has starred in a number of high-profile films, including “Wonder,” “Good Boys,” and “Doctor Sleep.” In 2023, he played flounder in the live-action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” alongside Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King.
