Gabriella Wilson (H.E.R.)
Gabriella Wilson, known professionally as H.E.R., is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who has won multiple Grammy Awards, including Best R&B Album for her compilation album H.E.R. in 2019. She also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Fight for You” from the film Judas and the Black Messiah.
Wilson began her career performing on television shows and released her debut single “Something to Prove” in 2014. Her debut EP H.E.R. Volume 1 was released in 2016, followed by successful projects like H.E.R. and I Used to Know Her. Her song “Fight for You” from Judas and the Black Messiah won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2021. She has performed at music festivals such as Coachella and the Global Citizen Festival.
Wilson has collaborated with Daniel Caesar on the Grammy-winning song “Best Part” and with Bryson Tiller on “Could’ve Been.” She worked with Chris Brown on “Come Through” and with YG on “Slide.” Additionally, she collaborated with DJ Khaled on “We Going Crazy” and worked with producers Rodney Jerkins and Swizz Beatz.
