Emily Taaffe is an Irish actress known for her extensive work in theatre and television. She has performed with the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company, and has appeared in television series such as “Ripper Street” and “War & Peace.”[1]

In the National Theatre’s production of “The Cherry Orchard,” Taaffe portrayed Dunyasha, sharing the stage with Zoë Wanamaker. She played leading roles in “The Comedy of Errors,” “The Tempest,” and “Twelfth Night” for the Royal Shakespeare Company, collaborating with actors including Jonathan Slinger and Kirsty Bushell. On television, Taaffe appeared in “Ripper Street” alongside Matthew Macfadyen, and in “War & Peace” with Paul Dano. She also guest-starred in “Call the Midwife,” working with Jessica Raine, and in “Atlantis,” featuring Jack Donnelly. Additionally, Taaffe appeared in “Death in Paradise,” sharing scenes with Kris Marshall.[2]
