Claudia Schiffer is a German model, actress, and fashion designer who gained worldwide recognition in the 1990s as one of the top supermodels in the fashion industry. Schiffer was born in Rheinberg, Germany, and began her modeling career at the young age of 17, after being spotted by a modeling agency while dancing at a nightclub in Düsseldorf. Her breakthrough came in 1989 when she was chosen to be the face of Chanel, a collaboration that would continue for over a decade.
