Christy Altomare
Christy Altomare is an American actress and singer-songwriter. Altomare’s breakout role was in the 2014 Broadway musical “Mamma Mia!” in which she played the lead role of Sophie Sheridan. She continued to shine in her next prominent role as the title character in the stage adaptation of the animated movie “Anastasia” in 2017, earning a Tony Award nomination for her performance. Her other notable stage credits include “Carrie: The Musical,” “Spring Awakening,” and “The Sound of Music.”
One of the milestones in Altomare’s career was her portrayal of the lead character, Anya, in the stage adaptation of the popular animated movie “Anastasia.” The musical marked Altomare’s return to Broadway after a five-year hiatus, and she received rave reviews for her performance.
