Carrie-Anne Moss
Carrie-Anne Moss is an award-winning Canadian actress who is best known for her roles in The Matrix series of films, alongside Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, and Hugo Weaving. She is also known for her portrayal of attorney Jeri Hogarth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moss started her career in Canadian television and film, appearing in series such as Forever Knight and Dark Justice. She moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1990s, making her US television debut in the series Baywatch Nights and later starred in the acclaimed series Faking It. In 1999, she landed her breakthrough role in The Matrix, followed by its two sequels, and she has since appeared in numerous other films such as Memento, Disturbia, and Chocolat. More recently, she has reprised her role as Jeri Hogarth in the Netflix series Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. She has been nominated for several awards for her work in film, television, and theatre, with her most recent win being a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 2018 film Shattered.
