Barry Shabaka Henley
Barry Shabaka Henley is an American actor known for his roles in film, television, and theater, with significant performances in Collateral (2004) as Daniel, Ali (2001) as Herbert Muhammad, and The Terminal (2004) as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent.
In Collateral, Henley portrayed Daniel, a jazz club owner, in scenes with Jamie Foxx that contributed to the film’s tension. In Ali, he played Herbert Muhammad, working with Will Smith in a biographical depiction of Muhammad Ali’s life. In The Terminal, he appeared alongside Tom Hanks in a supporting role. Henley’s television roles include an appearance in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In Grey’s Anatomy, he portrayed a patient, interacting with the main hospital staff cast. In Flashforward (2009–2010), he worked with Joseph Fiennes in a sci-fi thriller series.
