Alan Sugar
Alan Sugar, Baron Sugar of Clapton, is a British businessman, television personality, and politician. He is best known for his role as the host of the BBC reality series “The Apprentice,” in which aspiring businesspeople compete for the chance to work with Sugar. He is also known for being the founder, chairman, and majority owner of the electronics company AMSTRAD, which he started in 1968. He has also been a member of the House of Lords since 2009, where he sits as an independent member. He has been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to business and entrepreneurship.
