Abbi Jacobson
Abbi Jacobson is a comedian, writer, actress, and producer. Born in Pennsylvania, Jacobson began her career in comedy while studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art. After graduation, she moved to New York City and began performing at various comedy venues, eventually catching the attention of the producers of Comedy Central’s “Broad City.” She has appeared in films like “6 Balloons” and “Person to Person” alongside actors like Dave Franco and Michael Cera. Jacobson has also lent her voice to animated series like BoJack Horseman and Disenchantment, working alongside the likes of Will Arnett, Eric Andre, and John DiMaggio.
She has worked with fellow “Broad City” creator and co-star Ilana Glazer, as well as actors such as Paul W. Downs, Hannibal Buress, Eric André, and Janeane Garofalo. “Broad City” ran for five seasons and earned Jacobson several award nominations, including a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Jacobson has also appeared on a number of popular television shows, including “Portlandia” and “Drunk History,” and has lent her voice to several animated projects, including “The Simpsons” and “Bob’s Burgers.”
